She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from New York University College of Dentistry. She earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biology and Kinesiology from York University in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Ghesmati also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Software Computer Engineering and worked as an engineering project manager for a decade before becoming a dentist.
Dr. Ghesmati has completed many advanced continuing education courses and has a vast amount of training and experience in complex restorative and reconstructive dentistry, implantology, endodontics, microsurgeries, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ghesmati offers a comprehensive approach to dental health, intersecting beauty with function.
As someone who settles for nothing but the best, Dr. Ghesmati utilizes the most advanced technology being introduced in modern dentistry. This includes the Dental Microscope (providing microscope-enhanced dentistry), Cone Beam imagining, and the newest 3D printers and cameras in addition to a fully digitalized in-house lab, technologies for which she has spent hundreds of hours training all around the world.
Her background in engineering has provided her a distinct advantage in employing digital dentistry in every aspect of her practice. From general dentistry or complex treatment planning, to surgical, implant, or endodontic services, Dr. Ghesmati has a proven track record of dental expertise that her patients will attest to.
An avid watercolor painter, Dr. Ghesmati believes the more you understand and appreciate the art, the better you can develop, evaluate, and improve your own artwork. This understanding of art is being focused even more on her dental work.
Dr. Ghesmati also loves cooking, baking, and traveling, and she reads a lot. She likes to become a pastry chef in her own home kitchen (a hobby she is currently working on), and her dog’s name is Merlot!
